Villa Calma Mare Paxoi
Description
Villa Calma Mare Paxoi is a seaside residence located 1.5 kilometres south of Gaios, along the road leading to Mongonissi. The villa was built in 2016–2017 by Corfu-based architect Marilena Koskina, based on the original designs by architect Christoforos Kardakis. The property is set on a large plot divided by the road into an upper and a lower garden. The villa is positioned in the upper garden and is developed across three levels, with access via steps, a footpath, and a private driveway. The villa offers a total interior living area of 156 sq.m., complemented by a terrace, pergola, swimming pool, and pool deck on the second level, a smaller terrace on the first level, and a larger terrace on the third level. It features three bedrooms in total—one on each level—and can comfortably accommodate up to six guests. The bedroom on the first level includes two single beds, a kitchenette, an en-suite bathroom, and a terrace with views of the garden and the sea. On the second level, the bedroom features a double bed, an en-suite bathroom, a television, and a balcony overlooking the garden and the sea. The bedroom on the third level also includes a double bed, an en-suite bathroom, a television, and a balcony with garden and sea views. The remaining spaces on the second level include a spacious dining area and a fully equipped kitchen with two refrigerators, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and a large oven. There is also a living room with a wood-burning fireplace, a sofa, armchairs, and a television, as well as an additional bathroom with a guest WC. The villa offers both indoor and outdoor dining and lounging areas, while all rooms are fully air-conditioned. Around the pool area, six sun loungers with small side tables are arranged, along with an outdoor shower. The swimming pool measures 10 x 4.5 metres. The lower garden features two covered pergolas equipped with seating, tables, and six sunbeds, an outdoor shower, and, in the first pergola, a stone-built bar counter with a marble sink and a refrigerator. From the seaside garden, a custom-built ladder provides direct access to the sea, leading down to the flat rocks below and offering almost private access to the water.
